Progress in Orthodontics, the official journal of the Italian Society of Orthodontics (SIDO), is published to bring the advances in Mediterranean orthodontics to an international forum. It is published in May and in November, two issues per year.
Progress in Orthodontics will consider for publication only meritorious and original contributions. These may be one of the following:

• original articles reporting the findings of clinical trials, clinically relevant basic scientific investigations or novel therapeutic or diagnostic systems;
• review articles on current topics;
• techniques or case reports of unusual cases, novel clinical tools or exceptional levels of clinical competence may be considered;
• article of contemporary interest.

Submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by two referees serving on the editorial board.
The articles must be received by the editorial office no less than six months before the publication date.
